Nate Adams is a community organizer with deep familial ties to Oakland running for Oakland City Council District 2. Throughout his career, he has brought together tenants, workers, and everyday people to use our collective power against the rich and powerful in the Bay Area. On City Council, Nate will apply his fighting spirit to help create an Oakland that puts people first instead of the corporate interests that govern in the shadows. Nate’s focus includes slashing the rent, fixing the streets, filling vacant city jobs, and making city governance more transparent.
